Web Services Toolkit overview
You can use Web Services Toolkit
to provide remote clients of EAServer with easy access to EAServer
components, across firewalls. Web Services Toolkit provides:
- A SOAP Web application that incorporates
the SOAP servlet
- Extensive datatype serialization and de-serialization
- WSDL document generation
- A client proxy to minimize remote-client programming
when accessing EAServer Web services
- A GUI for performing WSDL document creation, UDDI
registration, and SOAP management
- A sample application that demonstrates how a client
application would access an EAServer Web service using the Sybase
Client Proxy
- Ability to leverage an EAServer cluster for high
availability, enhanced by the ability to provide multiple addresses
for a Web service to ensure client applications will be able to
invoke EAServer Web services
